Or why not take the opportunity to explore the rich natural beauty, historic attractions and fascinating market towns of Shropshire and the Welsh border. Our guests enjoy trips to Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Swansea, Llandrindod Wells, Hereford and Aberystwyth, accessible by road or rail. Knucklas is the Heart of Wales line so Shrewsbury & Swansea are easily accessible.
Our closest town is Knighton, which is 5 miles away – a bustling small town with a wide selection of pubs, tearooms, shops and train station… so definitely worth a visit. In Knighton, you’ll also find the information centre for Offa’s Dyke – Britain’s longest ancient monument following the border between England and Wales, now a popular walking route. You will find comprehensive details of local attractions in your lodge.
