Better Wi-Fi comes to Black Hall
Black Hall are thrilled to share with you all that we finally have better Wi-Fi!
For the past 7 years we have been operating on a satellite system that has given us as a business and all of our guests a very slow and unreliable internet connection. Over the past few months, we have been working to install a 4G mast which has let us connected hubs into each of our 19 lodges and leisure building. This means that a fast connection of up to 60Mbs is now reaching site and being sent to each lodge. Having a hub inside each lodge ensures a solid and secure connection for all of our guests.
We understand that not all guests want to ‘escape from it all’ whilst staying at Black Hall, and some people do need internet connection for work etc. This has become a ‘must’ for most holiday goers over the past few years, of course this is optional to use and those who wish to enjoy their break in peace do not need to connect.
Our internet is complimentary for all of our guests to use. To help prevent extreme usage, we have had to block streaming websites such as Netflix and Spotify. However, our Wi-Fi is now more than capable of facetiming, social media use and researching.
We have already had a huge amount of positive feedback from new and old guests who have experienced our poor Wi-Fi.
So if you have visited us before, and been unable to return due to the lack in internet connection then this is definitely no longer an issue!
We look forward to all of our future guests benefitting from this huge improvement at Black Hall and thank all of our previous guests for working with our poor, if not non existent, connection.Back to News & Offers?
